This is my own variation of a fly invented by Clive Collier. The original has over the years accounted for many fish and with the introduction of new materials I thought I may bring it up to date with this variation.
Whip the tying thread onto the hook (Kamasan B175 size 10) in this case. I am using black thread in size 6.
Pinch some black marabou and whip on as shown.
Add a strip of UV krinkle to the tail and trim for length, I use the other bit to come down the other side of the fly.
Tie in a length of olive UV micro fritz, this is a relativley new material and is very easy to use you can incorporate it in any number of flies and it looks the biz.
Wrap the body around the shank finishing it about 2 1/8ths of an inch shy of the hook eye.
Take a length of glo brite number5 and fold it until you have a sizable amount as shown in the picture.
Tie the glo brite into the fly as cheeks each side of the fly. Then just trim the glo brite for length I like to use 4mm.
Take some glo brite number 7 and do the same as above. Bring the micro UV over the first lot of glo brite and secure two turns of it before adding the number 7.

Trim the glo brite to size then bring the micro UV over to cover where you have just attached the glo brite.
Finish of the head with a whip finish tool or by hand and there you have the finished article.
