Well the Army championships were interesting this year, many of our members could not be there due to operational comitments, work and genrally life getting in the way. For those who came it was not an easy few days. Congratulations must go to Jim Douglas my long time fishing partner achieved the hat trick of Army Champioships with some consistant fishing over the two days. The highlight of the season for many is fishing the AWFMI. We were entering two teams this year and unfortunatley we failed to qualify from either heat. You can read about what happened at Pitsford Here.
I am sorry to report that I have no Idea what is happening in the AMFC as I have to date recieved no match reports from this competition. The Soldier Palmers retained the title of All services Champions with an outstanding performance from a team captained by Tony Hoggart, the match report is to follow (hopefully).
